Minnechaug Girls Top Pittsfield

WILBRAHAM, Mass. -- The Minnechaug girls basketball team Friday outscored Pittsfield, 17-5, in the fourth quarter to take an eight-point lead and held on for a 50-45 win.

 

Harolyn Castillo scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Generals.

 

Charlotte Goodnow scored 10 points, and Kyanna Summers finished with six points, eight boards and a team-high four assists.

 

Pittsfield (5-3) goes to Chicopee Comp on Monday afternoon.
