Pittsfield Pulls Away Late in Road Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Jamie Duquette and Harolyn Castillo each had a double-double Tuesday to lead the Pittsfield girls basketball team to a 73-53 win over Pope Francis.

 

Duquette scored 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Castillo finished with 12 points and 10 boards.

 

Madison Stetz scored 17 points, and Kyana Summers finished with eight rebounds and nine assists for the Generals, who put the game away with a 23-7 fourth quarter.

 

Pittsfield (14-3) goes to Westfield on Wednesday.
