Chicopee Girls Down Pittsfield

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Yamirelis Matos scored 17 points Friday to lead the Chicopee girls basketball team to a 67-36 win over Pittsfield.

 

Chicopee (10-1) led by 11 at half-time but started to pull away in the third quarter.

 

Jamie Duquette scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Pittsfield, which got 12 boards from Randi Duquette.

 

The Generals (7-6) host Chicopee Comp on Friday.
