Sime, Sondrini Lead Pittsfield Girls Past Monument Mountain

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Emery Sime and Alexi Sondrini each scored 18 points Wednesday to lead the Pittsfield girls basketball team to a 60-19 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Jordyn Lummus had eight points, 10 rebounds and four assists, and Randi Duquette scored six points, grabbed 11 rebounds and passed out four assists.

 

The Generals jumped out to a 28-4 lead after one quarter and never looked back in improving to 9-6 this winter.

 

Rhianna Louw scored six points to lead the Spartans (2-12), who host Drury on Friday.

 

Pittsfield Friday takes on Taconic at the Boys and Girls Club in the third game of a quadruple-header that begins with the girls and boys junior varsity teams from the city rivals.
