McCarthy Leads Wahconah Past Monument Mountain

DALTON, Mass. – Madison McCarthy made six 3-pointers on the way to a 22-point night Monday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 62-19 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Anna Doyle connected three times from behind the arc and finished with 10 points, and Dani Barry and Gracey Farley each scored seven on a night when nine different Wahconah players made a mark in the scorebook.

 

Polly Geddes and Remi Perreault scored six points apiece for the Spartans.

 

Monument Mountain (0-10) goes to Pope Francis on Thursday.

 

Wahconah (6-2) hosts Monson on Thursday.
