Benzinger, Howard Lead Mounties in Opening Night Win
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Jenna Benzinger and Lauren Howard scored in double figures Wednesday to lead the Mount Greylock girls basketball team to a 53-18 win over Duggan in the first round of the Gene Wein Holiday Tournament.
Benzinger finished with a game-high 16, and Howard added 14. Madison Ross scored six for the Mounties (1-0).
Mount Greylock faces Mount Everett on Thursday evening in the tournament finale.
