Pope Francis Girls Defeat Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Maeve Turmel scored 32 points Thursday to lead the Pope Francis girls basketball team to a 64-38 win over Mount Greylock.
 
Turmel scored eight points in the second quarter, when the Cardinals outscored Mount Greylock, 18-8, to take a 33-19 lead into half-time.
 
Madi Powell scored 14 points to lead the Mounties, who got eight from Lauren Powell.
 
Mount Greylock (5-9) goes to Pioneer Valley on Monday.
