Belchertown Comes Back to Beat Mount Greylock Girls

BELCHERTOWN, Mass. – Chloe Laroche scored 13 points Friday to lead the Belchertown girls basketball team to a 44-37 come-from-behind win over Mount Greylock.
 
The Mounties got off to a hot start, outscoring the Orioles, 17-8, in the first quarter and taking a 26-21 lead into half-time.
 
Laroche and Gabby Slovak each scored four in the third quarter, when Belchertown outscored the visitors, 16-5, to take the lead.
 
Tanley Drake scored a game-high 20 points for Mount Greylock, which got five points apiece from Madison Drake and A.J. Pelkey.
 
The Mounties (4-5) host Monument Mountain on Thursday.
