Mount Anthony Girls Hold Off Mount Greylock in Fourth

BENNINGTON, Vt. – Madisyn Moore scored 14 points, and the Mount Anthony girls basketball team held off a furious fourth-quarter comeback attempt by Mount Greylock Friday to secure a 41-38 win.

 

The Mounties outscored the Patriots, 18-6, in the final eight minutes to cut into a 15-point deficit.

 

Charlotte Coody scored 11 of her 17 points in the fourth quarter.

 

Molly Sullivan backed up Coody with nine points, and Madison Drake scored five in the loss.

 

Mount Greylock (4-6) hosts Springfield International Charter on Monday.
