Furlong Scores 20 in Wahconah Girls' Win

DALTON, Mass. -- Noelle Furlong scored 20 points Monday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 52-32 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Wahconah started strong, taking a 21-11 lead in the first quarter behind seven points from Furlong.

 

Maria Gamberoni backed her up with 14 in the game, and Victoria Gamberoni added six.

 

Monument Mountain got 10 points from Maya Cooney and seven from Destiny Brown.

 

The Spartans (5-10) host Putnam on Wednesday.

 

Wahconah (15-2) goes to Taconic on Monday.
