Furlong Leads Wahconah Girls Past Drury
DALTON, Mass. -- Noelle Furlong scored 13 points to lead three players in double figures Monday as the Wahconah girls basketball team defeated Drury, 53-36.
Julia O’Connor, and Casie Tobler added 11 and 10, respectively, and Kelly McMahon scored six -- all in a 21-10 third quarter that allowed Wahconah to open a 20-point lead.
Wahconah held Drury’s leading scorer, Brooke DiGennaro, without a point. Hayley Shook led the Blue Devils (1-1) with 15 points, and Tessa Zoito scored six.
Drury goes to Hoosac Valley on Friday.
Wahconah (1-1) goes to Lenox on Thursday.
