Zink, Wahconah Girls Top Coventry, Conn.

DALTON, Mass. -- Ashley Zink scored 12 points Saturday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 54-31 win over Coventry, Conn., in a game rescheduled from earlier this season.

 

Emmy Cote scored nine, and Cassie Tobler had eight in a balanced attack for Wahconah, which saw eight different players score at least three points.

 

Wahconah (7-5) takes a three-game winning streak into Thursday’s game at Taconic.
