Pudlo, Zink Lead Wahconah Girls Past Spartans

DALTON, Mass. -- Lily Pudlo and Ashley Zink each finished in double figures Friday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 66-38 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Pudlo scored 14, and Zink added 13 for Wahconah, which got eight from Abbie Steinman and seven from McKenna McIlquham.

 

Hailey Higgins led Monument Mountain with 13. The Spartans got seven from Destiny Brown and six from Meri Powell.

 

Monument (3-7) goes to Pittsfield on Saturday afternoon.

 

Wahconah (6-5) takes a two-game winning streak into Thursday’s game at Taconic.
