Pudlo Powers Wahconah Girls Past Monument
DALTON, Mass. -- Lily Pudlo scored 21 points Tuesday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 67-48 win over Monument Mountain.
The Spartans got a game-high 24 from Anika Helmke, but Wahconah built a 37-26 lead at half-time and never looked back.
McKenna McIlquham socrd 16 and Ashley Zink added 10 in the win.
Wahconah (8-4) got to celebrate a win at home for the first time this season but goes back on the road on Friday to face Hoosac Valley in Cheshire.
Monument Mountain (5-7) looks to snap a five-game losing streak on Friday when it hosts Drury.
