Zink, Wahconah Girls Win in Connecticut

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. -- Ashley Zink scored 20 points Saturday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to its sixth straight win, a 62-50 victory over Coventry in the Connecticut-Massachusetts Challenge.

 

Lily Pudlo scored 19, and Emmy Cote added 10 for Wahconah, which led by as many as 18 in the secnod half.

 

Wahconah (6-2) travels to face Drury on Friday.
