McCarthy Leads Wahconah Past Mount Greylock

DALTON, Mass. – Madison McCarthy scored 29 points Thursday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 69-27 win over Mount Greylock.

 

McCarthy hit four of her six 3-pointers and scored 16 points in the second quarter, when Wahconah outscored the Mounties, 21-5, to take a 34-11 lead into half-time.

 

Anna Doyle scored 11 points, and Danielle Hagmaier added 10 in the win.

 

Mount Greylock was led by Madi Powell with 11 points.

 

The Mounties (5-7) go to Monument Mountain on Tuesday.

 

Wahconah (6-6) hosts Drury on Monday.
