Hampshire Girls Down Wahconah

DALTON, Mass. – Shayne Moynihan scored 17 points Monday to lead the Hampshire Regional girls basketball team to a 38-32 win over Wahconah.

 

Danielle Hagmaier scored 16 to lead Wahconah, which got five points apiece from Sammie Kaley and Anna Doyle.

 

Hampshire outscored Wahconah, 15-6, in the fourth quarter, when Moynihan and Addie Miklasiewicz combined to go 11-for-14 at the free throw line, to pull away.

 

Wahconah (5-3) hosts Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
