Wahconah Girls Top Hampshire

DALTON, Mass. – Madison McCarthy scored 22 points Thursday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 55-43 win over Hampshire Regional.

 

Wahconah took control of the game with an 18-8 second quarter to take a 28-16 lead into half-time.

 

Anna Doyle scored 12 points, and Emma Jacinto and Olivia Mason added six apiece as Wahconah won its eighth straight.

 

Wahconah (12-2) goes to South Hadley on Monday.
