Doyle, Defense Power Wahconah on Road

WESTHAMPTON, Mass. – Anna Doyle scored 15 points, and the Wahconah girls basketball team held Hampshire to just four points in the second half to earn a 40-21 win on Friday night.

 

Wahconah led, 23-17, at half-time but really pulled away in the third quarter, when it outscored its hosts, 10-1.

 

Madison McCarthy scored nine points, and Olivia Roberts added five in the win.

 

Wahconah (2-1) goes to Drury on Thursday.
