Gamberoni Leads Wahconah in Regular Season Finale

WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Olivia Gamberoni scored 19 points Wednesday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 39-26 win over West Springfield.

 

Gamberoni accounted for three of her team’s seven 3-pointers on the night. Emma Belcher had two to finish with six points.

 

Wahconah dominated defensively, holding the Terriers to 12 points through three quarters and taking an 18-point lead into the fourth.

 

Wahconah (15-3) learns Friday who it will host in the quarter-finals of next week’s Western Massachusetts regional tournament.
