Wahconah's Kay Gets 250th Win

DALTON, Mass. – Grace Wigington scored 24 points, and Wahconah coach Liz Kay earned her 250th career victory with a 62-31 win over Agawam on Monday.

 

Wahconah put the game away early, outscoring the visitors, 18-3, in the first quarter, and, 36-8, by half-time.

 

Olivia Gamberoni scored 11 points, and Olivia Mason added nine in the win.

 

Wahconah improved to 10-3 with the victory, punching its ticket for the state tournament.

 

It will look to improve its seed on Tuesday when it goes on the road to face Holyoke.
