Gamberoni Leads Wahconah Past Monson

MONSON, Mass. – Olivia Gamberoni scored 21 points Thursday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 48-39 win over Monson.

 

Emma Belcher hit three 3-pointers in the third quarter, when Wahconah erased a 26-21 half-time deficit and took a 38-30 lead.

 

Belcher and Eva Eberwein each finished with nine points.

 

Aniah Myrie scored 11 to lead Monson.

 

Wahconah (14-3) hosts Holyoke on Tuesday.
