Wahconah Girls Fall at Amherst

AMHERST, Mass. -- Delaney Macphertes scored 18 points Saturday to lead the Amherst girls basketball team to a 57-35 win over Wahconah on Saturday.

 

Macphertes scored nine points, going 5-for-6 at the foul line, in the third quarter, when the Hurricanes outscored Wahconah, 23-10, to open up a 22-point lead.

 

Grace Wingington scored 11 to lad Wahconah, which got nine from Olivia Gamberoni.

 

Wahconah (12-3) goes to South Hadley on Tuesday.
