Gamberoni Leads Wahconah Girls Past Monument Mountain

DALTON, Mass. -- Maria Gamberoni scored 16 points Monday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 47-25 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Noelle Furlong scored 11, and Jilly Cote added 10 as Wahconah (14-4, 9-4 Berkshire County North Division) won its second straight.

 

Monument Mountain got eight points from Maya Cooney and five from Rhiana Louw.

 

The Spartans (2-13, 1-9) hosts Drury on Tuesday.

 

Wahconah plays Pittsfield on Saturday afternoon at Mount Greylock.
