Mendel, Mercier Lead Hoosac Girls Over Drury

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Alie Mendel scored 21 points, and Lexi Mercier added 18 to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to an 82-56 win over Drury on Monday night.

 

Sarah Field and Skylar Case each had nine, and 11 different players got in the scorebook for the Hurricanes (18-1).

 

Brooke DiGennaro scored a game-high 22, and Alison Felix and Tessa Zoito added 11 and nine, respectively for the Blue Devils.

 

Drury (10-10) which awaits next Saturday’s announcement of the Western Mass tournament pairings to learn its next opponent.

 

Hoosac Valley plays Natick on Monday in the Foxboro Tournament.
