Hoosac Valley Girls Defeat Lenox

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Alie Mendel scored 13 points Saturday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to a 64-31 win over Lenox.

 

Jessica Halverson scored 12 points on four 3-pointers, and Annabelle Canales added 11 as the Hurricanes improved to 7-0 this winter.

 

Alice Najimy scored a game-high 16 for Lenox, which got five from Nicole Gamberoni.

 

The Millionaires (3-4) travel to Wahconah on Tuesday.

 

Hoosac Valley hosts Mount Everett on Tuesday.
