Meczywor Leads Hurricanes Past Hampshire

WESTHAMPTON, Mass. – Emma Meczywor scored 24 points Friday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to a 59-46 win over Hampshire Regional.

 

Meczywor shot 10-for-12 at the free throw line in the win and scored eight points in the third quarter, when the Hurricanes outscored their hosts, 18-8, to build a 48-27 lead.

 

Ashlyn Lesure discord 11 points, and Reagan Shea added seven in the win.

 

Hoosac Valley (5-0) hosts Wahconah on Tuesday.
