Hoosac Valley Downs Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Ashlyn Lesure scored 13 points Wednesday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to a 64-27 win over Taconic.

 

Taylor Garabedian scored 11, and Emma Meczywor and Isabella Klose added nine and eight, respectively, as the Hurricanes won their eighth straight to finish the regular season.

 

Kianna Josephs scored eight to lead Taconic, which got six from Jaelynn Walker and five from Anna Hebert.

 

The Thunder (4-14) hosts Mount Greylock on Friday.

 

Hoosac Valley (15-3) waits to learn its quarter-final opponent in next week’s Western Massachusetts Class D Tournament.
