Meczywor Leads Balanced Attack for Hoosac Valley Against Amherst

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Emma Meczywor scored 15 points Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to a 61-25 win over Amherst-Pelham.

 

The Hurricanes put the game away early, outscoring Amherst, 27-8, in the second quarter to take a 37-9 lead into the locker room. Meczywor scored seven points in that quarter.

 

Taylor Garabedian scored 12 points in the win. Abby Scialabba and Haley McNeice added nine and eight, respectively.

 

Hoosac Valley (13-3) goes to Greenfield on Tuesday.
