Garabedian, Hurricanes Beat Monson

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Taylor Garabedian scored 21 points Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to a 59-45 win over Monson.

 

Garabedian scored six points, and Ashlyn Lesure scored five of her seven points in the fourth quarter, when the Hurricanes outscored the Mustangs, 20-9, to pull away after building a three-point margin through three quarters.

 

Hanna Shea and Abby Scialabba each scored 10 points in the win.

 

Hoosac Valley (5-1) goes to Amherst on Tuesday.
