Garabedian's 25-Point Night Lifts Hoosac Valley

WESTHAMPTHON, Mass. – Taylor Garabedian scored 25 points Tuesday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to a 59-49 win over Hampshire Regional.

 

Garabedian went 9-for-12 at the free throw line and scored nine points in the fourth quarter, when the Hurricanes outscored their hosts by a margin of 23-9 to overcome a 40-36 deficit.

 

Haley McNeice went 4-for-4 at the line in the fourth quarter and finished with nine points, along with Hanna Shea. Ashlyn Lesure scored seven in the win.

 

Shayne Moynahan scored 24 to lead Hampshire.

 

Hoosac Valley (1-0) hosts South Hadley on Friday.
