Phillips, Curry Lead Taconic Past Monument Mountain

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Ahliya Phillips and Johnahyah Curry each scored 19 points Thursday to lead the Taconic girls basketball team to a 60-50 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Ciany Conyers added nine as Taconic improved to 14-4 this winter.

 

Fiona Horan scored a game-high 20 for the Spartans, who got 10 from Maya Cooney.

 

Monument Mountain (5-14) hosts Mount Greylock on Saturday in their North-South crossover game.

 

Taconic finishes the regular season with Lee at home on Monday and at Greenfield on Wednesday.
