Northampton Girls Top Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Amanda Mieczkowski scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Northampton girls basketball team to a 44-41 win over Taconic on Wednesday night.

 

Mieczkowski went 3-for-4 at the foul line in the fourth quarter, when the Blue Devils outscored Taconic, 10-9, to hold on for the victory.

 

Ciany Conyers scored 14 to lead three players in double figures for Taconic. Ahliya Phillips scored 12, and Taea Bramer added 10.

 

Taconic (7-2) hosts Belchertown on Friday.
