Walker, Taconic Girls Top Ludlow

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Janee Walker led four players in double figures Tuesday as the Taconic High girls basketball team defeated Ludlow, 70-52.

 

Walker scored 17 points for Taconic (1-1), which got 15 apiece from Ashley Rufo and Maddy Quinto and 11 from Jasmine Rodriguez.

 

Taconic blew the game open with a 20-7 third quarter after leading, 34-25, at half-time.

 

It will look to go over the .500 mark on Monday when it hosts Pope Francis.
