Hoosac Valley Girls Top Taconic

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Ashlyn Lesure scored 15 points Friday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to a 67-24 win over Taconic.

 

Lesure scored 10 points in the first quarter, when the Hurricanes jumped out to a 20-2 lead.

 

Reagan Shea scored 11 points, and Emma Meczywor added nine in the win.

 

Jaelynn Walker scored 13 points to lead the Thunder, which got five from Kiannah Josephs.

 

Taconic (1-3) hosts Mount Greylock on Monday.

 

Hoosac Valley (5-0) goes to Hampshire on Jan. 3.
