Wigington, Wahconah Top Taconic

DALTON, Mass. – Grace Wigington scored 20 points Saturday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 75-43 win over Taconic.
 
Four Wahconah players finished in double figures as they bounced back from Tuesday’s loss to improve to 9-3 this season.
 
Ava Massaro and Emma Belcher scored 12 points apiece, and Madison McCarthy scored 11 for Whconah, which led, 39-18, at half-time.
 
Jalisa Jessup scored 12 points to lead Taconic, which got eight from Alex Hudson and seven from Ahna Balcom.
 
Taconic (4-6) goes to Springfield Central on Monday.
 
Wahconah hosts Agawam on Monday.
