Phillips Leads Taconic Past West Side

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Ahliya Phillips scored 25 points Saturday to lead the Taconic girls basketball team to a 69-49 win over West Springfield.

 

Phillips hit four 3-pointers and grabbed seven rebounds for Taconic, which led, 29-17, at half-time.

 

Madison Winn scored 15 and pulled down a team-high eight boards. Brenna McNeice scored eight and had seven rebounds.

 

Shannon Kosior scored 16 to lead the Terriers.

 

 Taconic (7-6) hosts Northampton on Tuesday.
