Winn, Faith Cross Lead Taconic Girls Past Westfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Madison Winn scored 14 points, and Faith Cross had a double-double Thursday as the Taconic girls basketball team beat Westfield, 53-38.

 

Cross scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

 

Brenna McNeice was the third Taconic player in double figures with 10 points and also had nine caroms. Ahliya Phillips finished with eight points and nine boards to go with a team-high four assists.

 

Alexis Sanchez scored 12 to lead Westfield.

 

Taconic (6-6) hosts West Springfield on Saturday morning in a game rescheduled from Friday due to weather.
