Strong Second Half Propels Springfield Central Past Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Julie Bahati scored 16 points, and Amany Lopez added 12 Tuesday to lead the Springfield Central girls basketball team to a 58-35 win over Taconic.

 

Central outscored the hosts by a margin of 33-17 in the second half to break open a close game.

 

Ahliya Phillips scored nine for Taconic, which got eight points from Maddie Winn.

 

Taconic (5-6) hosts Westfield on Thursday.
