Phillips, Taconic Girls Improve to 2-0

CHICOPEE, Mass. -- Ahliya Phillips scored 16 points Thursday to lead the Taconic girls basketball team to a 60-43 win over Chicopee Comp.

 

Phillips pulled down eight rebounds and passed out five assists in the win.

 

Faith Cross scored 12 and grabbed eight boards. Madison Winn contributed nine points and eight rebounds.

 

Taconic (2-0) goes to Springfield Central on Tuesday.
