Easthampton Girls Top Mount Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Lauren Morse scored 21 points Thursday to lead the Easthampton girls basketball team to a 49-34 win over Mount Everett.

 

“The girls hung tough tonight with Easthampton, just couldn't seem to get any closer than six at the end,” Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. “Easthampton was very balanced and used their speed to keep us at an arm's length all game. I was proud of the girls for battling for the entire game.”

 

Emma Goewey scored 18 points for the Eagles, who got nine from Maggy Sarnacki.

 

Mount Everett (3-3) hosts Renaissance on Tuesday.
