Ware Rallies Past McCann Tech Girls in Fourth

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Jordan Halgas scored 15 points Thursday to lead the Ware girls basketball team to a 47-43 win over McCann Tech.

 

Ware outscored the Hornets, 15-10, in the fourth quarter to overcome a 33-32 deficit.

 

“Tonight we lost a tough one,” McCann coach Kathy Budaj said. :It was a great game played by both teams. They made a few more shots than we did. I am proud of the way the girls played hard right until the end.”

 

Allie Gibeau led McCann Tech with 16 points, and Jordan Budaj added 10.

 

The Hornets (7-11) go to Pioneer on Saturday.
