Gibeau, Dowling Lead McCann Tech Girls to Home Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Allie Gibeau scored six of her eight points in the first quarter to help the McCann Tech girls get off to a fast start, and the Hornets rolled to a 45-28 win over Hampden Charter on Friday night.

 

McCann led, 30-8, at half-time on the way to its second win of the season.

 

Aimee Dowling tied Gibeau for team-high honors with eight points on a night when McCann got offense from 10 different players. Alanza Quinones and Kelly Dobbert chipped in with seven and six, respectively.

 

McCann (2-5) travels to Mohawk on Monday.
