Brazeau Hits Game-Winning 3 as Hornets Win First
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Faith Brazeau hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 35 seconds left Tuesday to lift the McCann Tech girls basketball team to its first win of the season, a 34-31 victory over Pathfinder.
Brazeau’s triple gave the Hornets a 32-31 lead.
Emmalie Wood hit a pair of free throws to preserve the lead.
The Hornets outscored the visitors, 9-6, in the third quarter to take a 22-18 lead into the final eight minutes before Pathfinder rallied to take the slight advantage.
Aiden Champney scored a team-high nine points, and Brazeau added eight.
Greenly Lagimoniere scored a game-high 21 points to lead Pathfinder.
McCann Tech (1-9) hosts Ludlow on Thursday.
