Granby Girls Down McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Aubrey Parent scored 14 points Thursday to lead the Granby girls basketball team to a 45-35 win over McCann Tech.

 

The Rams jumped out to a  14-6 lead in the first quarter, but McCann Tech battled back to get within six points, 33-27, going to the fourth.

 

In the fourth, Granby went 6-for-10 at the foul line on the way to outscoring the Hornets, 12-8, to pull away for the win.

 

Hannah Boisvert scored 13 points to lead McCann Tech, which got eight from Brooke Reynolds and seven from Aiden Champney.

 

The Hornets (0-4) go to Pioneer Valley on Friday.
