McCann Tech Girls Struggle Offensively in Road Loss

SOUTHWICK, Mass. – MaeveTumel scored 21 points Monday to lead the Southwick girls basketball team to a 42-26 win over McCann Tech.

 

The Hornets got 11 points from Hannah Boisvert and 10 from Macey Tatro but managed just 11 points in the first half on the way to their second straight loss.

 

“We are struggling to score,” McCann Tech coach Kathy Budaj said. “We are doing many good things, but we just can’t get the ball to drop. Great effort by everyone. We will keep plugging away and work on our shots.”

 

McCann Tech (3-7) hosts Pope Francis on Wednesday.
