Poor Shooting Costs McCann Tech Girls

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Isabella Meadows scored 24 points Friday to lead the Pope Franics girls basketball team to a 52-30 win over McCann Tech.

 

Hornets coach Kathy Budaj called it a tough loss for her squad.

 

“Unfortunately, we could not get the bunnies under the hoop to drop, and it wasn’t because of a lack of trying,” Budaj said.

 

Macey Tatro scored 16 points, and Hannah Boisvert added six in the loss.

 

McCann Tech (3-6) goes to Southwick on Monday.
