Felix Scores 18 to Lead Drury Girls over Mount Everett
SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Brooke DiGennaro scored eight points, and Tess Zoito added six in a decisive third quarter Thursday to lift the Drury girls basketball team to a 65-59 win over Mount Everett.
The Blue Devils overcame a 31-25 half-time deficit by outscoring the Eagles, 21-11, in that third quarter.
Alison Felix led Drury’s offense with 18 points. Zoito scored 12, and DiGennaro and Hayley Shook each scored 10 in the win.
Mount Everett’s Gwendolyn Carpenter scored a game-high 24, and Madison Ullrich added 15.
The Eagles and Blue Devils are both off until Jan. 3.
Mount Everett (2-4) that night hosts Hampden Charter while Drury (2-2) hosts the Paolo Freire Social Justice Charter School.
