Zoito Leads Drury Girls to Victory in Season Opener

NORTHFIELD, Mass. -- Tessa Zoito scored 13 points Wednesday to lead the Drury girls basketball team to a 57-28 win over Pioneer as the Blue Devils started coach Ian Downey’s tenure with a victory.

 

Brooke DiGennaro scored 11, including seven in a 24-6 third quarter that built on a 10-point half-time lead for the Blue Devils (1-0).

 

Hayley Shook scored eight, and Laura Thomas and Anna Dix added seven and six, respectively.

 

Drury goes to Wahconah on Monday.
