Three County Cheer Squads Heading to States

DUDLEY, Mass. — The cheerleading squads from Pittsfield, Hoosac Valley and Drury each earned a spot in the state championships at last weekend’s Winter West Cheerleading Regional at Shepherd Hill High School.

Pittsfield won the Division 3 title with a 151.10 to 143.10 win over Ludlow High School.

Hoosac Valley won the Division 4 title with 143.9 points, and Drury finished second to Monson in the co-ed small school division by a score of 156.4 to 145.9.

The state final is Sunday at Wachusett High School.
